Nick Kohl enters his second season as an assistant men's track & field coach after returning to UW-La Crosse prior to the 2024-25 season. He also serves as an assistant facilities and events coordinator.
In Kohl's first season back with the Eagles, UWL swept the 2025 National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division III Indoor and Outdoor National Championships. Kohl coach nine NCAA All-American's including six indoor and three outdoor.Â
Kohl served as an assistant coach for the Eagles for six seasons, helping lead UWL to four National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division III Championships.Â
He coached eight national champions at UWL, 30 NCAA Division III All-Americas and 22 Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) champions.Â
Kohl served as an assistant coach at Wartburg College (Iowa) for 10 seasons.
He earned his bachelor's degree from UW-Stout in human development and family studies. Kohl was an assistant coach for the Blue Devils prior to coming to UWL. He coached three NCAA III All-Americas and seven conference champions at UW-Stout.Â
Kohl holds a USA Track and Field Level I certification.Â
