Kalamazoo, Mich. - Four members of the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse women's swimming & diving team completed final day action at the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division III Central Diving Championships Saturday in the Kalamazoo College (Mich.) Natatorium.
In Saturday's three-meter competition, UWL's
Hannah Martini placed ninth (415.55 points) with
Emma Lieb 15th (373.85),
Abbey Thornton 20th (355.10) and
Madison DeBernardo 22nd (352.60).
Martini placed 10th (380.15) while Thornton was 16th (369.35) in Friday's one-meter while Lieb was 25th (348.25) and DeBernardo 29th (323.60).
A total of 32 divers competed in the one-meter competition and 31 in the three-meter.
The top-eight finishers advance to the NCAA Division III Championships scheduled for Wednesday, March 18 through Saturday, March 21 at the Indiana University Indianapolis IU Natatorium in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Martini and DeBernardo appeared in their second NCAA Division III Diving Regional. At the 2025 regional in Granville, Ohio, Martini placed 11th (393.00 points) in the one-meter competition and 15th (381.35) in the three-meter while DeBernardo finished 30th in the one-meter (321.85) and 23rd (344.00) in the three-meter.
Lieb and Thornton were making their first trip to the diving regional.
