WIAC Championships Results
Brown Deer, Wis. - The University of Wisconsin-La Crosse men's swimming & diving team is in third-place after the first day of competition at the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) Championships (presented by Culver's) Wednesday night at the Walter Schroeder Aquatic Center.

The Eagles have 100.0 team points while UW-Eau Claire leads with 113.0. UW-Stevens Point is second with 112.0 followed by UWL third with 100.0, UW-Oshkosh fourth with 79.0 and UW-Whitewater fifth with 73.0.
UWL's 200 medley relay of
Jacob Ketterling,
Tyler Hartmann,
Jonah Elfers and
Jesse Hammes placed second Wednesday with a school record time of 1:30.13. The relay broke the record of 1:30.36 set by Hammes, Hartman, Elfers and
Blake Nelson last season.Â
Gavin LaBeau,
Davin Evans,
Caleb Jondle and
Preston Nygaard were third (6:53.76) in the 800 freestyle relay on Wednesday.
Individually, the Eagles'
Aanav Patel placed third (393.85 points),
Ethan Pedersen seventh (353.10) and
Luke Zocher 11th (294.85) in the three-meter diving competition.
Action continues Thursday, February 19 with preliminaries at 10 a.m. and finals at 6:30 p.m.
