Torin Hannah of
Mount Horeb (H.S.) has been named to the 2024-25 Academic All-District® Men's Basketball Team, selected by the College Sports Communicators (CSC), the organization announced Tuesday.
It is Hannah's first career Academic All-District® selection. A chemistry major and mathematics minor with a 3.63 cumulative grade point average, Hannah is a three-time member of the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) Scholastic Honor Roll. He has been a member of UWL's Dean's List for five semesters.
Torin Hannah played in 98 career games at UWL.
He played in 30 games this season for UWL, including four starts. Hannah averaged 4.1 points and 3.4 rebounds per game, scored in double figures in three games. He scored a season-high 15 points with six rebounds versus Ripon College (Wis.). Hannah started all four games in the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division III Tournament, averaging 6.0 rebounds.
Hannah finished with a career-high 20 points last season versus UW-Platteville. Playing in 98 career games, Hannah scored in double figures in 21 contests.
The 2024-25 Academic All-District® Men's Basketball Team, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
The Division II and III CSC Academic All-America® programs are partially financially supported by the NCAA Division II and III national governance structures to assist CSC with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2024-25 Divisions II and III Academic All-America® programs. The NAIA CSC Academic All-America® program is partially financially supported through the NAIA governance structure.
