Winona, Minn. - The University of Wisconsin-La Crosse gymnastics team continued their great start to the 2025 season as they defeated Winona State University (Minn.) and Gustavus Adolphus College (Minn.) in a triangular Friday night.
THE BASICS
Final Score: UW-La Crosse 191.300, Winona State University (Minn.) 187.825, Gustavus Adolphus College (Minn.) 185.600.

Next Up: The Eagles will finally open their home portion of the 2025 schedule as they host Gustavus Adolphus College (Minn.) on Friday, January 31 at 6:30 p.m for a dual.
Grace Kehr finished 3rd on the floor exercise and 5th on the vault.
HOW DID IT HAPPEN
VAULT
- The Eagles took home four of the top five spots on the vault as they scored a 48.075 as a team. Winona State was next as a team with a 47.575 while Gustavus Adolphus finished with a 47.075.
- Lily Millington tied for first with Kennedy O'Connor of Winona State as they scored a 9.675.
- Finishing right behind Millington and O'Connor was Sarah Pastore with a 9.650.
- In fourth place was Kyla Dickson with a 9.625 while Grace Kehr scored a 9.600 to finish fifth.
UNEVEN PARALLEL BARS
- Like the vault, UWL had four of the top five finishers as the Eagles finished with a 46.950. Winona State finished with a 45.375 as a team and Gustavus Adolphus recorded a 44.450.
- Morgan Engels scored a 9.675 on the uneven parallel bars to win the event while teammate Sarah Best was second with a 9.625.
- Lauren Main tied for third place with a 9.550 while Ashlyn Barker scored a 9.400 to finish fifth.
Sarah Best finished second on the bars.
BALANCE BEAM
- Dickson was one of two gymnast to record a 9.775 on the balance beam which was the events highest score. Dickson tied Bryce Stoltz of Winona State for the the top spot.
- In third place was Raina Christenson as she scored a 9.700 while Madalyn McCormick was fifth with a 9.600.
- Team Results on the balance beam saw the Eagles finish with a 48.200, the Warriors with a 47.125 and the Gusties with a 46.175.
FLOOR EXERCISE
- As a team, UWL won the floor exercise as they recorded a 48.075 while Winona State was second (47.950) and Gustavus Adolphus third (47.900).
- Kehr was the top Eagle finisher on the floor exercise as she recorded a 9.725 to finish third overall.
- In fourth place overall was Claire Robbins was fifth (9.650).
