Eagles Drop Two at Edgewood College Triangular

Madison, Wis.  - The University of Wisconsin-La Crosse volleyball team traveled to Madison, Wis. on Saturday for the Edgewood College (Wis.) Triangular. The Eagles fell 3-1 to Loras College (Iowa) and 3-0 to Edgewood.

    MATCH 1 - Loras 3, UW-La Crosse 1
  • Kayla Sexton led the Eagles offense with 13 kills while Gabby Johnson finished with 11 and Paige Geiser added nine.
  • Jackie Oetterer was the top setter for the Eagles as she finished with 29 assists and eight digs.
  • Taylor Larson finished with a team high 24 digs while Johnson and Marissa Topel each had 10 digs. 
  • Sophie Younkin led Loras with 20 kills while Autumn Finch (16 kills) and Cat Meyer (14 kills) also finished in double figures. 
  • Lucie Lambe had a match high 26 digs while Sara Hoskins recorded 52 assists.

  • Johnson finished with seven kills and six digs while Oetterer had 10 assists and 10 digs for the Eagles. 
  • Abigail Hoffmann recorded a match high 12 kills to lead the Edgewood offense while Mia Hinkamper led the defense with 16 digs.
