Eau Claire, Wis. – The University of Wisconsin-La Crosse women's track & field team competed at the Dick & Mary Johnson Invitational at UW-Eau Claire. No team scores were recorded.
UWL won six individual titles, including five field events.
Izzy Carroll won a pair of events, placing first in shot put (45-5 /14) and discus throw (141-11).
Ainsley Hansen took the high jump (5-4 ¼),
Madison Habberstad the pole vault (11-10 ¾) and
Alison Daugherty the triple jump (35-10 ¾). Carroll was also third (148-3) in the hammer throw.

Sarah Grubbs captured the 400-meter dash (58.77).
Other top-eight finishers in Saturday's field events, included
Corrin Liptak second (17-6 ¼),
Hailie Kent third (17-4 ¾),
Josie Blum fourth (17-3 ¼) and
Audrey Braun eighth (16-3 ¼) in the long jump.

Alexys Scheuerell seventh (85-5) in the javelin throw.

Madilyn Vander Sanden recorded a pair of top-five finishes Saturday, placing fourth (136-9) in the hammer throw and fifth (38-2 ¾) in the shot put.
Sydney Torgerson registered a pair of top-eight finishes as she was sixth (37-10) in the shot put and seventh (122-10) in the discus throw.
Maddy Fries and
Alia Vanderhoef tied for seventh (4-10 ¾) in the high jump while
Alexa Zimney was eighth (116-2) in the discus throw.
On the track, Maddie was second in the 400-meter dash (58.90) and seventh in the 200-meter dash (26.30).
Molly Novotny placed second in the 1,500-meter run (4:52.26) while
Gretchen McNeal finished second (1:03.91) in the 400-meter hurdles.
Along with Hecker's second-place finish in the 400-meter dash,
Alli Thomas was fourth (59.10),
Lilly Halvorson fifth (59.30),
Elise Moon seventh (1:00.11) and
Grace Kern eighth (1:00.28).
Jessica Wilson finished fourth (2:21.84),
Grace Bisswurm fifth (2:24.21) and
Bryn Sato sixth (2:26.01) in the 800-meter run with
Elena Kozich sixth (5:00.63) in the 1,500-meter run.
Ava Sullivan placed fourth (1:05.60) in the 400-meter hurdles and
Macee Redman sixth (16.08) in the 100-meter hurdles.
