La Crosse, Wis. - The University of Wisconsin-La Crosse women's tennis team wrapped up its home schedule versus Luther College (Iowa) on Tuesday at Green Island Tennis Park. The match was canceled during singles play due to rain and will not be resumed. 

The teams played its three doubles matches with UWL's Hannah Cady/Maia Samuelson earning the victory at No. 1 singles (8-2) over Luther's (Iowa) Sofia Sackett/Natalia Smith.

UWL (16-4) returns to action Saturday, April 27 versus UW-Eau Claire in the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) Team Tournament Semifinals. The match is set for 12 p.m. at UW-Whitewater. UWL is the third-seed and UW-Eau Claire the second-seed. Top-seed UW-Whitewater hosts fourth-seed UW-Oshkosh in the other semifinal. The winner of the league's tournament earns the conference's automatic bid to the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division III Championships.
