Oshkosh, Wis..- For the second game in a row, the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse women's basketball team came up short against a nationally ranked opponent as they fell to #15 ranked UW-Oshkosh Wednesday night.

HOW DID IT HAPPEN
- With the score tied 6-6 in the first quarter, UWL scores the final eight points of the quarter to lead 14-6. Lindsey Knuth scored all eight points during the run with back-to-back three-pointers followed by a jumper.
- The Titans scored eight of the first 10 points of the second quarter to cut their deficit to 16-14 with 5:15 left in the half. The Eagles would respond with a three-pointer from Katie Waukau and Lauryn Milne to extend the Eagles to 22-14 (4:21). The Titans scored the final four points of the half to trail 24-20 at halftime.
- UW-Oshkosh continued their run that started at the end of the second quarter as they hit four of their first six three-pointers to take a 43-27 lead with 2:05 left in the third quarter. UWL would close the third quarter by scoring the final eight points to trail 43-35 heading into the fourth quarter. Milne sparked the mini run with a three-point play by Milne followed by a three-pointer from Ali Sprangers and a layup from Milne.
- A three-pointer by Waukau followed by two free throws by Milne cut the Eagles deficit to 47-42 with 7:25 remaining. Back-to-back three-pointers by Bridget Froehlke would extend the Titans lead back to 53-44. A Kailee Meeker three-pointer followed by back-to-back Sprangers' three-pointers would pull UWL to within 57-53 with 3:00 left. The two teams would trade baskets to make the score 59-55 with 1:35 on the clock. The Titans would hit five of their final six free throws for the final score of 64-55.

- Milne and Sprangers led the Eagles with 14 points apiece. Milne also finished with a team high seven rebounds while Sprangers hit four three-pointers
- Meeker was also in double figures with 11 points.
- As a team, UWL shot 19-of-52 (36.5%) from the floor including 10-of-25 (40.0%) from the three-point line. The Eagles were also seven-of-nine (77.8%) from the free throw line.
- Froehlke led the Titans with 22 points while Kayce Vaile added 18 points and a game high 11 rebounds.
- For the game, UW-Oshkosh shot 24-of-52 (46.2%) from the floor including eight-of-23 (34.8%) from the three-point line. The Titans were also eight-of-10 (80%) from the free throw line.
