Decorah, Iowa - The University of Wisconsin-La Crosse men's swimming & diving team placed third of the Luther College (Iowa) Invitational Saturday night. The Eagles finished with 752.0 points while UW-Whitewater took the team championship with 993.0.

Luther (Iowa) was second with 833.0 points and Coe College (Iowa) fourth with 252.0.

UWL's
Evan Zimdars won the three-meter diving title (473.05 points) Saturday while
Joey Marchiando finished third (402.15),
Aanav Patel fifth (345.10) and
Luke Zocher sixth (310.40).

Ben Collins finished second (1:46.21) in the 200 freestyle while
Davin Evans was fourth (1:51.46) and
Kyle Kosiak sixth (1:54.19). Collins also finished sixth (1:00.74) in the 100 breaststroke while Evans was second (17:34.19) in the 1,650 freestyle and sixth (2:13.06) in the 200 backstroke.

Jesse Hammes finished third (59.44) in the 100 breaststroke.
Kyler Mahoney was sixth (18:57.05) in the 1,650 freestyle.
Zach Vinson was second (2:01.35) and Kosiak fifth (2:08.99) in the 200 backstroke.

UWL's
Tyler Hartmann finished fifth (21.89) in the 50 freestyle with
Blake Nelson sixth (21.89) and
Jackson Plautz seventh (21.94). Hartmann placed fourth (52.45) and
Jonah Elfers second (51.84) in the 100 butterfly.

The Eagles' 200 medley and 400 freestyle relays both finished second. Hammes, Hartmann, Elfers and Nelson were second (1:35.08) in the 200 medley relay with Hartmann, Hammes, Collins and Plautz second (3:09.96) in the 400 freestyle relay.
