La Crosse, Wis. - The University of Wisconsin-La Crosse soccer team improved to 13-3-2 on the season with a 6-2 victory over Concordia University Wisconsin Tuesday at Veterans Memorial Field Sports Complex. Concordia Wisconsin drops to 10-5-2 on the season.

The Eagles, third in the United Soccer Coaches Region IX rankings, tallied all six of their goals in the first 22:00 of the game on Tuesday.
Chelsea Gale got the scoring started at 3:01 for a 1-0 lead.
Jillian Sawadski scored the first of her three goals at 4:33 with an assist from
Ellie Arndt and a 2-0 lead.

Gale scored her second goal of the game at 12:01 to extend the lead to 3-0 and Sawadski followed with goals at 13:43 and 17:10 for a 5-0 advantage.
Sophie Pope recorded an assist on Sawadski's goal at 13:43.

Aubree Caya made it 6-0 at 21:46. Concordia Wisconsin cut it to 6-1 at 42:12 on Sara Gille's assist.

UWL recorded 21 shots and two corner kicks in the first half. Concordia Wisconsin totaled eight shots and one corner kick.

The Falcons' Hailey Whittow scored at 83:38 off a Ava Fox assist for the game's final goal.

UWL totaled 31 shots in the game with 17 on goal. Sawadski, Gale, Caya,
Alexis McMahon and
Katelyn Studebaker each had three shots. All three shots by Sawadski and Caya came on goal. Fourteen different players recorded a shot.

Erelyn Apel earning the victory while seeing 30:13 in goal. Sophie Anger (27:04), Summer Nicolia (17:56) and
Robin Blair (14:47) each played in goal. Anger and Blair had three saves and Nicolia two.Â

Concordia Wisconsin finished with 19 shots, including 10 on goal. Sheridan Dorge led the Falcons with five shots (one on goal) while Sabrina Moore totaled four shots (three on goal). Brooke Braga (17:59) suffered the loss, finishing with four saves. Kara Claussner (72:01) registered seven saves.

UWL has clinched the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) regular season title with its 5-0-1 record.
