Box Score Oshkosh, Wis. - The University of Wisconsin-La Crosse volleyball team was not able to handle nationally ranked UW-Oshkosh as the Titans defeated the Eagles 3-0 in Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference play.

HOW DID IT HAPPEN
- The Titans of UW-Oshkosh got off to a fast start in set one as they took an early 10-3 lead and never trailed in the opening set. The Titans hit .536 (16,1,28) while the Eagles were limited to hitting .081 (10,7,37).
- Trailing 3-2 in the second set, the Eagles scored four of the next six points to take a 6-5 lead. UW-Oshkosh quickly took the lead back as they led 12-9 before UWL cut their deficit to 13-11. UW-Oshkosh then went on a 8-1 run to take a 21-12 lead and the Eagles were not able to get closer than five (23-18) the rest of the second set.
- UW-Oshkosh never trailed in the third set as they took an early 7-1 lead before UWL slowly chipped away and pulled within 12-11. A 10-1 run would help the Titans pull away as they won the third set 25-16.
FROM THE BOX SCORE
- As a team, the Eagles hit .082 and were led by Gabby Johnson with nine kills while Paige Geiser added seven.
- Taylor Larson led the Eagles defense with a season high 11 digs.
- Jackie Oetterer finished with 21 assists and five digs for the Eagles.
- The Titans finished hitting .347 and were led by Robyn Kirsch with 11 kills while Sami Perlberg, Riley Kindt and Lauren Grier each had nine kills.
