Oshkosh, Wis. - The University of Wisconsin-La Crosse men's swimming & diving team earned a 192-83 dual victory at UW-Oshkosh Saturday afternoon in Albee Hall.
The Eagles swept both relays on Saturday.
Tyler Hartmann,
Blake Nelson,
Jesse Hammes and
Connor Cleveland took the 200 medley relay (1:41.50) with Hartmann,
Caleb Jondle,
Jonah Elfers and Hammes winning the 200 freestyle relay (1:27.45).
UWL's
Tony McNiff swept the diving competition, taking the one-meter (271.85 points) and three-meter (260.95).
Aanav Patel was second (219.70) and
Evan Zimdars third (218.70) in the one-meter. Zimdars was also second (246.05) in the three-meter.
Caleb Jondle
In Saturday's individual swimming events, UWL won 10 titles. Hammes won the 50 freestyle (22.19),
Will Quackenbush the 100 freestyle (48.13),
Davin Evans the 500 freestyle (5:13.30) and
Sebiyam Werdin-Kennicott the 1,650 freestyle (18:19.18). Quackenbush was also second in the 100 breaststroke (1:03.36) while Evans was third in the 200 butterfly (2:21.08).
Hartmann won a pair of races, capturing the 100 breaststroke (1:01.79) and 100 butterfly (53.75). Elfers won the 100 backstroke (56.62) and
Jacob Jensen the 200 backstroke (2:07.63). Jondle won the 200 butterfly (2:06.08) and
Jacob Ketterling the 200 I.M. (2:02.19). Elfers was second (2:07.84) and Jondle third (2:08.20) in the 200 backstroke while Jondle also placed second (55.17) in the 100 butterfly. The Eagles'
Sean Gillett was third (55.61) in the 100 butterfly. Ketterling was second in the 50 (22.27) and 100 (49.54) freestyle.
Cleveland placed third in the 50 freestyle (22.28) and 200 I.M. (2:04.09).
