Bethlehem, Pa. - The University of Wisconsin-La Crosse men's cross country placed seventh at the Lehigh University (Pa.) Paul Short Run Saturday on the Goodman Campus Cross Country Course. The Eagles finished with 271 points while Yale University (Conn.) took the team title with 101. Wingate University (N.C.) was second with 123. A total of 43 teams competed, including several National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division I schools.
Ethan Gregg led UWL with a third-place finish Saturday, completing the 8,000-meter course in 24:00.2.
Isaac Wegner was 11th for the Eagles with a time of 24:17.7.

Adam Loenser 91st (25:01.0), Joey Sullivan 130th (25:14.4),
Elias Ritzke 150th (25:21.7),
Aidan Matthai 250th (26:00.7) and
Zach Slevin 264th (26:05.2).
Evan Dorenkamp from Penn State University (Pa.) won the individual title (23:57.1). A total of 392 runners completed the race.
UWL returns to action Saturday, October 14 hosting the Jim Drews Invitational at Maple Grove Venues, LLC in West Salem at 11 a.m.
