Stevens Point, Wis. - The University of Wisconsin-La Crosse volleyball team dropped a Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) match-up to 18th-ranked UW-Stevens Point Friday night play.

HOW DID IT HAPPEN
- Leading 10-7, UW-Stevens Point went on an 8-0 run to take an 18-7 lead. UWL would not get any closer than six (23-17) the rest of the way.
- UWL took an early 5-1 lead in the second set. After falling behind 6-3, UW-Stevens Point went on 8-2 run to take an 11-9 lead. UWL would not get the lead back the rest of the way.
- Trailing 21-17, UWL went on a 4-0 run to tie the third set at 21. The Pointers took a 24-22 lead, Brianne Korducki and Justine Bastyr hit back-to-back kills to tie it at 24. However, Ashley Kopp would hit back-to-back kills for the Pointers to seal the win.

- Anna Rossner led the Eagles with nine kills and four blocks.
- Korducki finished with seven kills and eight digs.
