Rochester, Minn. - The University of Wisconsin-La Crosse women's swimming & diving team placed fourth at the Rochester Invitational Sunday night at the Rochester-Olmstead County Recreation Center Natatorium. The Eagles finished with 1,129.50 points while the University of Nebraska-Omaha took the team title with 2,018.0.
St. Cloud State University (Minn.) was second with 1,625.5 and the University of St. Thomas (Minn.) third with 1,411.0. UW-Eau Claire placed fifth (1,058.5) followed by St. Olaf College, Minn. (669.0), The College of Saint Benedict, Minn. (555.0), Minnesota State University Moorhead (448.5) and Carleton College, Minn. (31.0).

In Sunday's action, UWL's
Maddy Albert-Nelson placed second (2:10.33) in the 200 butterfly with
Abi Schauske 13th (2:17.11),
Brooke Presny 17th (2:21.18) and
Grace Radke 20th (2:25.68).
Jordy Hahlen
Jordy Hahlen was sixth (2:09.28) in the 200 backstroke while
Autumn Seebach placed ninth (2:08.94),
Kylee Sommer 11th (2:10.11) and
Paige Rundahl 12th (2:10.93).
In the 100 I.M.,
Emma Siegersma finished 10th (1:02.77),
Molly Banks 11th (1:03.01),
Makenzie Wallace 12th (1:03.12) and
Brooke Laube 13th (1:03.35).
Lauren Steien was 10th (2:27.61),
Lily Rosenau 14th (2:33.31), Wallace 17th (2:32.25) and
Alyssa Wallander 20th (2:36.21) in the 200 breaststroke.
Reilly Eiynck was 15th (55.38) in the 100 freestyle while Laube was 20th (54.50). In the 1,650 freestyle,
Claire Vandenhouten placed 15th (18:43.89),
Amelia Olson 16th (18:53.69) and
Ellen Bie 18th (19:01.38).
The Eagles' 400 freestyle relay of Sommer, Eiynck, Laube and
Alexis Hoeben placed ninth (3:39.03).
