Decorah, Iowa - The University of Wisconsin-La Crosse men's cross country team captured a dual victory at Luther College (Iowa) Friday night. The Eagles finished with 15 team points while the Norse totaled 45.
UWL's Joey Sullivan was the Eagles top finisher as he finished the 5,000 meter course in a time of 16:01. 8 to finish second.
Austin True was third (16:08.3),
Jayden Zywicki fourth (16:09.3),
Mason Brown fifth (16:10.1),
Tracy Bye sixth (16:10.2) and
Alex Strojny ninth (16:17.0).
Josh Koehnen was 11th (16:21.5),
Will Aurit 13th (16:24.9),
Michael Madoch 14th (16:27.5),
Phillip Houston 15th (16:28.9),
Sebastian Baker 16th (16:35.1) and
Nick Kepford 17th (16:37.6).
A total of 36 runners completed the race.
