Oshkosh, Wis. - The University of Wisconsin-La Crosse men's swimming & diving team earned a 154-61 dual victory at UW-Oshkosh Saturday afternoon in Albee Hall. The Eagles improve to 3-1, including 2-1 in the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC).
UWL won 11 individual events and swept both relays Saturday. Individually,
Tony McNiff won the one (239.90 points) and three-meter (237.40) diving competition. Nick Litterer won the 50 (22.30) and 100 (49.28) freestyle with
Andrew Perrin capturing the 200 freestyle (1:51.21) and 400 I.M. (4:35.22).

Litterer was also second in the 500 freestyle (5:09.57).
Other winners Saturday included
Will Quackenbush the 200 breaststroke (2:25.80),
Connor Cleveland in the 100 butterfly (55.48),
Ming Ong the 200 butterfly (1:59.50),
Zach Vinson the 100 backstroke (56.78), and
Brevin Kruse the 200 backstroke (2:01.73).
Quackenbush also placed second (17:33.71) in the 1,650 freestyle while Cleveland was second in the 100 breaststroke (1:04.19).
Blake Nelson recorded a pair of second-place finishes, in the 50 (22.65) and 200 (1:56.58) freestyle.
Alex Starr was second in the 100 backstroke (1:00.89) and
Ben Hendel second in the 200 butterfly (2:04.21) while
Jacob Brehmer was third in the 1,650 freestyle (18:40.85).

UWL swept the relays. Vinson, Cleveland, Hendel and Litterer took the 200 medley relay (1:41.23) with Nelson,
Jackson Plautz, Starr and Quackenbush capturing the 400 freestyle relay (3:20.13).
UWL returns to action Saturday, January 29 hosting UW-Stevens Point at 1 p.m.
