Menomonie, Wis. - The University of Wisconsin-La Crosse gymnastics team earned a 189.450 to 187.075 dual victory at UW-Stout Friday night. UWL scored 47.400 on the vault, 47.875 on the uneven parallel bars, 46.800 on the balance beam and 47.225 on the floor exercise.
UWL set season-highs in overall and uneven parallel bars.
The Eagles swept the four individual event titles Friday night.
Madi Vanderpool captured the vault (9.625),
Kerrie Legault the uneven parallel bars (9.650),
Emma Grant the balance beam (9.775) and
Rachel Chesley the floor exercise (9.650).

Vanderpool also finished fourth on the uneven parallel bars (9.575) while Chesley was second on the vault (9.575) and third on the uneven parallel bars (9.600).
Alex Wood recorded a pair of top-six finishes Friday, including tied for third on the floor exercise (9.425) and tied for sixth on the vault (9.425).
The Eagles'
Kyla Dickson tied for second on the balance beam (9.625) while
Jessica Taylor tied for third on the floor exercise (9.425) and
Olivia Opheim tied for fifth (9.375).
Sara Beck was fifth on the vault (9.450). On the uneven parallel bars,
Cate Sandvik and
Molly Lyngaas tied for fifth (9.525).
UWL returns to action Friday, January 28 hosting UW-Eau Claire at 6:30 p.m.
