Waverly, Iowa - The University of Wisconsin-La Crosse men's track & field finished fourth at the Wartburg Friday Night Lights Meet at Walston-Hoover Stadium. The Eagles finished with 148.5 team points while Wartburg College (Iowa) placed first with 243.0. UW-Eau Claire finished second with 187.0, Loras College (Iowa) third with 151.5 and UW-Oshkosh fifth with 18.0.
UWL's

Troy DeBruin,
Spencer Reichart and
Josh Koenecke placed first (40.48) in the 4x100-meter relay.
Other top finishes on the track included
Samuel Sadowski placing sixth (11.46) in the 100-meter dash while Reichart was fifth in the 200-meter dash (22.42).
Brian Hansford was second (1:55.65) in the 800-meter run while
Nathan Schacherl took sixth (1:59.68). UWL's
Tyler Kisting was second (3:51.24) in the 1,500-meter run and
Michael Madoch fourth (3:53.21).
In the 110-meter hurdles
Dillon Murman finished second (14.78),
Carson Reilly fourth (15.27) and
Ben Jones fifth (15.51).
Andrew Pischke finished fifth (56.39) in the 400-meter hurdles for the Eagles.
In Friday's field events,
Matt Haynes finished fourth in the high jump (1.81m).
Nick Crary was second (6.57m),
Andrew Hermes third (6.67m),
Chase Roehl fourth (6.65m) and
Ben Jones sixth (6.50m) in the long jump.
The Eagles'
Kaleb Schuster placed second (4.61m) in the pole vault while
Dexter Larson and
Sashi Popke tied for fourth (4.46m).
UWL's
Bryce Sitko placed second (14.50m) in the shot put while
Michael Lampman took third (13.89m). Sitko also finished fourth in the discus throw (44.85m).
Aiden Williams was third (50.13m) in the hammer throw with Lampman sixth (44.85m).
UWL returns to action Friday, May 7 at the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) Championships at UW-River Falls.
