River Falls, Wis. - The University of Wisconsin-La Crosse lacrosse team fell 25-3 against UW-River Falls Saturday afternoon at Smith Stadium at Ramer Field. The Eagles' drop to 4-5 on the season while the Falcons improve to 6-2.
The Falcons would score the first 12 goals of the game holding UWL to just three shots in the first 20 minutes of the half. UWL would score their first goal of the game at 6:57 when

Bella Post scored unnassisted in Saturday's loss.
The Eagles would head into half time trailing 14-1. The Falcons would outshoot UWL 27-5 in the first half.
UW-River Falls would continue to grow their lead taking a 19-1 advantage at 21:14 with Grace Hannula scoring but
Bella Post would find the back of the net unassisted at 19:19 for UWL. The Falcons would score the next four goals until
Kloee Brabender found
Anna Davis open in the eight for UWL's third and final goal of the day.
UWL finished the day with nine shots, seven on goal while collecting six ground balls.
Lauren Schwartz led the Eagles with three ground balls and four caused turnovers while
Abigail Steigauf finished with three caused turnovers and two draw controls.
Abi Furlano would take the loss in goal making a career high 10 saves while getting one ground ball.
Ellen Coggio would make five saves in the game.
UW-River Falls finished with 49 shots, 40 on goal while collecting four ground balls. Hannula led the Falcons with six goals while Gina Jablonski won 14 draw controls. Ashley Olson earned the win in net making four saves.
UWL returns to action Friday, April 23 hosting UW-River Falls at 5 p.m
