Stevens Point, Wis. - The University of Wisconsin-La Crosse men's swimming & diving team fell 162-79 in a dual at UW-Stevens Point Saturday afternoon. The Eagles had top-three finishes in 11 of the 13 events.
UWL won four individual titles on Saturday with Hans Hover taking three events. He captured the 100 butterfly (50.81), 200 I.M. (1:57.54) and 1,000 freestyle (10:19.09).
The Eagles' Andrew Groth won the 500 freestyle (4:58.67).
Other top individual finishes included Jack Rohlinger recording a pair of second-place finishes in the 100 (48.58) and 200 (1:47.05) freestyle. Adam Baryenbruch was second (59.17) in the 100 breaststroke while Ben Schaffer was third (1:01.08).
Nicholas Litterer placed second (54.33) in the 100 backstroke and third (22.63) in the 50 freestyle.
Rohlinger, AJ Von Berge, Sergio Solis and Litterer were second in the 200 freestyle relay (1:27.92) while Solis, Baryenbruch, Kipp Dietrich and Von Berge were third in the 200 medley relay (1:39.60).
