La Crosse, Wis. - The University of Wisconsin-La Crosse women's and men's swimming & diving teams took on the Titans of the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh Saturday afternoon in the Richard L. Pein Natatorium. The women's squad earned a 159-67 victory while the men's team won 134-85.
On the women's side,
Elizabeth Konkel won the one-meter diving (250.90) while
Sydney Vian was second (245.00) and
Samantha Lemke finished third (200.05). Vian won the three-meter diving event with a score of 258.75 while Lemke (228.55) was second and
Megan Wantoch was third (225.90).
The relay team of
Madalyn Peterson,
Grace Storms,
Melissa Klaeser and
Natalie Sims won the 400-yard medley relay in a time of 4:12.84
Individually,
Lexi Burgos won the 500 freestyle (5:42.62) and 1,000 freestyle (11:56.43).
Aubrey Lonergan won the 200 freestyle with a time of 2:06.74 while
Jaime Kloehn won the 50 freestyle at 25.39.
In the 400 I.M.,
Maria Vaudreuil took first with a time of 4:51.01. The 100 butterfly was won by
Ellie Szczupakiewicz in a time of 1:04.88 while
Samantha Seymour won the 100 freestyle with a time of 57.48.
Peterson won the 100 backstroke with a time of 1:01.85.
On the men's side,
Kyle Wolmutt took second in the one (299.85) and three (250.95) meter diving.
UWL's
Sergio Solis,
Adam Baryenbruch,
Kipp Dietrich and
Anthony Douglass won the 400 medley relay in a time of 3:37.99.
Hans Hover won the 500 (4:51.73) and 1,000 freestyle (10:12.81).
In the 200 freestyle,
Ben Hendel took first with a time of 1:52.49 while
Jack Rohlinger won the 50 freestyle (21.81). Dietrich took first in the 100 butterfly (54.09) and
Charles Hartt won the 100 freestyle (47.85).
In a time of 55.63, Solis won the 100 backstroke.
