Menomonie, Wis. - The University of Wisconsin-La Crosse women's basketball team earned a 77-61 victory at UW-Stout Wednesday night in Johnson Fieldhouse. The Eagles improve to 16-8 overall and 9-4 in the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) while the Blue Devils drop to 7-17 overall and 0-13 in the conference.
UW-Stout led 14-8 with 4:46 left in the first quarter when UWL went on a 14-1 run to end the quarter and lead 22-17. The Eagles led 31-26 at halftime.Â
The Blue Devils trailed 37-26 with 8:46 remaining in the third quarter when they went on a 15-4 run to force a 41-41 tie with 3:57 left on Carolyn Feddema's layup. UWL took a 50-48 lead at the end of third quarter. UW-Stout cut the deficit to 50-49 with 9:39 remaining in the fourth quarter on a Diersen free throw, but UWL went on a 20-4 run to lead 70-53 with 3:25 left on

UWL shot 52.5% from the field, including 61.3% (19-of-31) in the second half. The Eagles shot 33.3% (seven-of-21) from three-point range for the game and 85.7% (six-of-seven) at the line.
Ava Kramer led UWL with a career-high 24 points, finishing 10-of-17 from the field, including four-of-five from three-point range.
Dani Craig finished with 16 points for the Eagles while Schoenenberger totaled 15 and
Elise DeNoyer 11. Schoenenberger had a team-high eight rebounds while DeNoyer and
Kylee Marks each had seven.Â
UW-Stout shot 47.3% from the field, including 23.1% (three-of-13) from three-point range, and 66.7% (six-of-nine) at the line. Diersen led the Blue Devils with 16 points while Anna Brown had 11.Â
UWL returns to action Saturday, February 17 hosting 14th-ranked UW-Whitewater at 3 p.m. on Senior Day. It is the regular-season finale for both teams.Â
