Box Score 2 Northfield, Minn. - The University of Wisconsin-La Crosse volleyball team split a pair of duals Saturday afternoon at the Carleton College (Minn.) Triangular. The Eagles earned a 3-0 (25-20, 25-18, 25-16) victory over Macalester College (Minn.) before falling 3-0 (25-16, 25-18, 25-22) to Carleton College (Minn.). UW-L is now 9-15 on the season.
In the win over Macalester (Minn.),
Stephanie Henk led UW-L with 15 kills while hitting .364 (15 kills, three errors, 33 attempts).
Ida Steingas finished with 10 kills while
Jill Entinger had seven.
Maddie Entinger recorded 24 assists and
Paige Schmidt 13 as the Eagles hit .261.
Courtney Geisler led UW-L with 20 digs with
Maddie Entinger recorded nine.
Abby Scharbarth had three block assists and one block solo while
Jessica Jablonski had three block assists.
Clara Bauman led Macalester (Minn.) with nine kills. Arianna Hesterberg finished with 13 assists as the Scot hit .046. Cora Trout finished with 16 digs and Bauman 11.
Versus Carleton (Minn.), Steingas recorded 10 kils with Henk finishing with six.
Maddie Entinger had 15 assists as the Eagles hit .070.
Geisler led UW-L with 14 digs while
Maddie Entinger, Steingas and
Melanie Martin each had seven.
Jill Entinger finished with four block assists while Henk added three.
Lucy Stevens led Carleton (Minn.) with 13 kills and Karen Halls added 11. Alicia Flatt finished with 36 assists as the Knights hit .252.
Camille Benson recorded 21 digs. Stevnes finished with three block assists.
