Box Score Oshkosh, Wis. - The University of Wisconsin-La Crosse volleyball team fell 3-0 (25-20, 25-19, 25-16) at UW-Oshkosh Wednesday night in Kolf Sports Center. The Eagles drop to 8-14 overall and 1-4 in the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) while the Titans improve to 20-3 overall and 3-2 in the conference. It is UW-Oshkosh's second win over UW-L this season after earning a 3-1 (25-20, 25-22, 22-25, 25-15) victory October 4 in La Crosse.
Ashley Entinger led UW-L with eight kills Wednesday night while
Jill Entinger and
Stephanie Henk each finished with seven.
Maddie Entinger totaled 17 assists and
Paige Schmidt 10 as the Eagles hit .053.
Courtney Geisler had a match-high 18 digs with
Maddie Entinger recording 14. Four players had a block assist.
Brooke Brinkman led UW-Oshkosh with 13 kills with Katelyn Malcheski recording 12. Lexi Thiel finished with 32 assists as the Titans hit .239.
Mandy Trautman recorded 17 digs while Thiel and Rachel Smith each had 10. Nerissa Vogt had two block solos and five block assists.
UW-L returns to action Saturday, October 18 at the Carleton College (Minn.) Triangular. The Eagles face Macalester College (Minn.) at 2 p.m. and host Carleton (Minn.) at 4 p.m.
