Box Score Winona, Minn. - The University of Wisconsin-La Crosse volleyball team fell 3-1 (25-17, 25-17, 21-25, 27-25) at Saint Mary's University (Minn.) Wednesday night in the SMU Gym. The Eagles drop to 4-5 on the season while the Cardinals improve to 7-2.
Lauren Probst led UW-L with 18 kills Wednesday night. She finished with a .441 hitting percentage, recording 18 kills and three hitting errors in 34 attempts.
Crystal Ziegler finished with 12 kills for the Eagles while
Kayla Ashland and
Jill Entinger each recorded seven.
UW-L finished with a .194 hitting percentage.
Cassie Raduka had 43 assists.
Courtney Geisler led the team with 11 digs while Probst finished with nine.
Alex Peterson led four players in double digit kills for Saint Mary's with 14. Kenzie Lind recorded 11 kills while Mary Nordick and Macki Fadness each had 10. Nordick hit .429 (10-1-21) with Fadness at .400 (10-2-20).
The Cardinals hit .262 for the match with Leix Assimos recording 39 assists.
Lexi Krogstad led Saint Mary's with 17 digs.
UW-L returns to action Wednesday, September 18 at 19th-ranked UW-Whitewater at 7 p.m.
