Volleyball Team Earns Three Set Win over UW-River Falls

Box Score La Crosse, Wis. - The University of Wisconsin-La Crosse volleyball team earned a 3-0 (25-15, 25-20, 25-15) victory over UW-River Falls Saturday afternoon in Mitchell Hall in the Eagles' regular-season home finale.  The Eagles improve to 13-12 overall and 5-3 in the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) while the Falcons fall to 16-13 overall and 3-5 in the conference.

Crystal Ziegler and Lauren Probst led UW-L with 10 kills each. Ziegler hit .400 for the match with 10 kills and two errors in 20 attempts. Jill Entinger finished with nine kills, hitting .467 (9-2-15). Cassie Raduka recorded 29 assists as the Eagles hit .333. 

Probst led the team with eight digs while Ziegler and Ashley Entinger each had seven. Courtney Geisler finished with six digs. 

Kayla Ashland had 5.0 total blocks while Probst and Leah Putzier each had 3.0.

Rebecca Gasper led UW-River Falls iwth six kills while Jean Theis and Kayla Slaikeu each had four. Raven Kline had 11 assists and Alyssa Anderson eight as the Falcons hit .036. 

Brianna Muetzel led UW-River Falls with eight digs while Gasper and Lisa Keppers each had 3.0 blocks. 

UW-L returns to action Saturday, November 2 at the UW-Stevens Point Quadrangular. The Eagles face UW-Stevens Point at noon and St. Norbert College (Wis.) at 2 p.m.
