Decorah, Iowa - The University of Wisconsin-La Crosse men's cross country team captured a dual victory at Luther College (Iowa) Friday night. The Eagles finished with 22 team points while the Norse recorded 33 points. It was the 58th Annual Luther versus UW-L dual.
UW-L had five runners finish in the top-eight, including
Nate Routhier who captured the individual title with a time of 20:46.5 on the four-mile course. The Eagles'
Tom Linner was second (20:55.3) while
Michael Rosenberg placed fourth (21:11.6),
Cody Artymuik seventh (21:22.7) and
Andrew Heinritz eighth (21:31.0).

Joseph Hinz 11th (21:47.8),
Damian Roers 12th (21:48.3),
Sean Royer 14th (21:57.7),
Evan Kacmarynski 15th (21:58.4),
Nick Oelke 18th (22:02.1), Alex Barbeln 23rd (22:22.6),

Lane Geisness 27th (22:53.9).
A total of 39 runners competed.
UW-L returns to action Saturday, November 2 at the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) Championships. The meet is scheduled to start at 1 p.m. at Kilkarney Golf Course in River Falls, Wisconsin.
