Maddie Gutsch starts her fourth year as a staff athletic trainer at UW-La Crosse in 2025-26. She supervised and evaluated graduate and undergraduate athletic training students during their clinical experiences.
She earned her bachelor's degree in sport medicine and master's degree in athletic training from Concordia University Wisconsin in 2021.
Gutsch served as an athletic trainer at Lindsey Wilson College (Ky.) from July 2021 to June 2022, working with women's soccer, women's basketball, cheerleading and women's and men's tennis. She assisted in the coordination of care for all athletic teams on campus.
While at Concordia Wisconsin and completing her clinical rotations, Gutsch worked with the Falcons' athletics program as well Nicolet and Whitefish Bay High School and the Milwaukee Ballet. She served as a summer intern for the Lakeshore Chinooks of the Northwoods Baseball League.
Gutsch is a member of the National Athletic Training Association, Wisconsin Athletic Trainer's Association and Great Lakes Athletic Trainer's Association.
