University of Wisconsin La Crosse Athletics

Kelsey Foss is in her first year as an assistant gymnastics coach and recruiting coordinator at UW-La Crosse in 2023-24.  She had worked as the donor relations coordinator for the UWL Alumni & Friends Foundation for the last five years.  Foss has been working in non-profit fundraising, marketing and event planning roles since 2010.

Along with her coaching duties at UWL, Foss works as a facilities and events coordinator for Intercollegiate Athletics.

Foss was a member of the Eagles' gymnastics team from 2006-10, earning four letters.  She was a four-time National Collegiate Gymnastics Association (NCGA) All-America, including twice in 2009 and 2010. Foss placed eighth in the all-around and 12th on the floor exercise in 2009 while finishing tied for second on the uneven parallel bars and fifth on the balance beam in 2010.  She was named to the 2010 NCGA All-Academic Team and a three-time (2007-09) member of the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) Scholastic Honor Roll.   

She earned her bachelor's degree in communications: public relations and organizational communication from UWL in 2010. Foss helped coach in the Junior Eagle Developmental Gymnastics Program throughout college. 

Named to the 2009 All-WIAC Sportsmanship Team, Foss earned all-league honors in 2009, finishing second in the all-around and balance beam and fifth on the uneven parallel bars.  She also earned All-WIAC honors with a third-place finish on the balance beam in 2008 and second-place finish on the floor exercise in 2007. 

Foss was a member of three (2008-10) NCGA Championship teams and three (2007-09) WIAC title squads.  

A native of Hastings, Minnesota, Foss was a member of Perpetual Motion Gymnastics and TAGS South Gymnastics.
