Truett Wilson is in his first season as a student assistant coach in 2024. A native of Combined Locks, Wisconsin, Wilson attended Kimberly (Wis.) High School where he played lacrosse for the Papermakers.
Wilson earned first team all-conference and team MVP honors during his junior and senior years at Kimberly. He broke the state record for single-season goals (97) and points (153) during his senior season. Kimberly reached the state playoffs for the first time in school history during Wilson's senior campaign.Â
Named the Kimberly Spirt Award Winner in 2019, Wilson played lacrosse at Carthage College (Wis.) in 2023, appearing in three games.
Wilson is an elementary education major at UWL with a minor in recreation. He also coaches women's and youth boys lacrosse through the Construct Lacrosse Program and assists with the Kimberly High School women's program as well.Â
