Kyle Cluppert is in his second year as an assistant sports performance coach at UW-La Crosse in 2023-24. He earned his bachelor’s degree in exercise sport science from UWL in 2013 and master’s in Kinesiology from UW-Milwaukee in 2018.
Along with working at UWL, he serves as a strength coach at Viterbo University (Wis.), a position he has held since 2019. Cluppert has developed and implemented strength and conditioning programs for the V-Hawks’ women’s and men’s basketball programs and women’s and men’s volleyball. He also worked with women’s soccer.
Prior to arriving at Viterbo (Wis.), Cluppert was the assistant strength and conditioning coach at UW-Milwaukee from 2016-18. While working the Panthers, he developed programs for women’s tennis and women’s and men’s swimming & diving. Cluppert also assisted with women’s and men’s basketball teams.
He served as a sports performance intern at Marquette University (Wis.) from May-August 2017. Cluppert assisted the head sports performance coach with the implementation of the strength and conditioning program for men’s basketball. He also assisted in the coaching of women’s basketball, women’s volleyball, track & field and lacrosse.
Cluppert is a certified strength and conditioning specialist and is a USAW Level 1 Sports Performance Coach.
