Taylor Hanson enters his second season as an assistant women's golf coach at UW-La Crosse in 2024-25.

Hanson comes to UW-La Crosse after serving as an assistant coach for two years with the Viterbo University (Wis.) women's golf program and three seasons with the Viterbo (Wis.) men's golf team. Hanson joined the coaching staffs after a successful four-year playing career the V-Hawks. Hanson is also is in ninth season an assistant basketball coach with the Viterbo (Wis.) men's basketball team.
 
He graduated from Viterbo (Wis.) in 2017, 2019, and 2021 with his bachelor’s degree and two master’s degrees. Hanson is currently working pursuing his Ed.D in Ethical Leadership from Viterbo (Wis.) and is in his third year as an Assistant Professor in the Dahl School of Business teaching Economics, Finance, and Leadership.
 
Taylor and his wife, Ashley (UWL alum), currently reside in West Salem.
