University of Wisconsin La Crosse Athletics

Ron Sloan is in his first season as an assistant softball coach at UW-La Crosse in 2024. He has over 40 years of coaching, including the last 10 seasons in Sparta, Wisconsin. Sloan coached in Rice Lake, Wisconsin from 1980 through 2013. 

Sloan also coached in Cameron, Wisconsin for four years and was a volunteer assistant coach at UW-Green Bay. 

He also has over 40 years of playing fastpitch softball, including three appearances in the North American Fastpitch Association (NAFA) World Series.
