WIAC Championships Results
Brown Deer, Wis. - The University of Wisconsin-La Crosse women's swimming & diving team is tied for first-place after the first day of competition at the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) Championships (presented by Culver's) Wednesday night at the Walter Schroeder Aquatic Center.
UWL and UW-Eau Claire are tied with 74.0 team points while UW-Oshkosh is third with 64.0 and UW-Whitewater and UW-Stevens Point tied for fourth with 58.0. Â
The Eagles' 200 medley relay of

Zoey Rank,
Greta Wiskus and
Libby Cleveland captured the title on Wednesday with a meet record time of 1:43.17. It marks the seventh straight season UWL has won the 200 medley relay, including the third consecutive for Cleveland and second straight for Rank.
The relay broke the WIAC Championship record of 1:43.43 set by UWL's Chelsea Hoff, Brianna Peyer, Danielle Ellingson and Clare Hathaway in 2009.

Abby Gierke and
Ava Pulvermacher finished second in the 800 freestyle relay on Wednesday with a time of 7:47.53.
Action continues Thursday, February 19 with preliminaries at 10 a.m. and finals at 6:30 p.m.
