Stevens Point, Wis. - The University of Wisconsin-La Crosse women's swimming & diving team captured the UW-Stevens Point Invitational Saturday in the UWSP Aquatics Center.
The Eagles finished with 1,479.0 team points with Gustavus Adolphus College (Minn.) second with 1,081.0, UW-Stevens Point third with 617.0 and UW-Eau Claire fourth with 39.0..
UWL swept the two relays on Saturday with

Ella Stadler,
Shefali Ramakrishnan and
Greta Wiskus winning the 200 medley relay (1:47.26) and
Ava Pulvermacher,
Paige Rundahl, Rank and
Libby Cleveland the 400 freestyle relay (3:37.55).
Individually, Pulvermacher won the 400 I.M. (4:42.52) with
Abby Gierke third (4:57.73). Ramakrishnan captured the 100 butterfly (1:00.53) while Wiskus was second (1:01.22).
Wiskus captured the 50 freestyle (24.04) as Ramakrishnan was second (25.15) and
Ellie Brown third (25.17). Rank took the 100 breaststroke (1:06.97),
Makenzie Wallace second (1:08.41) and
Emily Hauke third (1:10.02).
Rundahl won the 200 backstroke (2:13.20) for the Eagles with
Ava Newman second (2:15.58)and Mikayla Knaffla third (2:15.64). Rundahl was also third (2:02.14) in the 200 freestyle while
McKenna Biegler finished second (18:41.04) in the 1,650 freestyle.
Hannah Martini captured the three-meter diving title (439.65 points).
UWL returns to action Saturday, January 31 hosting UW-Stevens Point in Mitchell Hall. Diving starts at 10 a.m. and swimming events at 2 p.m.
