Oshkosh, Wis. - The University of Wisconsin-La Crosse women's swimming & diving team earned a 210-90 dual victory at UW-Oshkosh Saturday in Albee Hall & Pool.
The Eagles improve to 3-0 overall and 2-0 in the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC).
UWL won 12 events on Saturday, including sweeping the relays with
Zoey Rank,
Makenzie Wallace,
Greta Wiskus and
Libby Cleveland taking 200 medley relay (1:49.77) and
Ellie Brown, Wiskus,
Ava Pulvermacher and Cleveland the 200 freestyle relay (1:39.33).
The Eagles'
Hannah Martini swept the diving competition, winning the one (251.75 points) and three-meter (268.70).
Madison DeBernardo was second in the one (246.65) and three-meter (246.55).
Pulvermacher won two events, capturing the 200 freestyle (2:01.27) and 200 I.M. (2:15.95). Rank won the 100 backstroke (1:00.00),
Ella Stadler the 100 breaststroke (1:11.14) and Wallace the 200 breaststroke (2:32.60). Rank was also second (2:35.28) in the 200 breaststroke and Stadler placed second in the 200 I.M. (2:16.29). Pulvermacher was third (2:14.99) in the 200 backstroke.
Wiskus captured the 50 freestyle (24.35), Cleveland the 100 freestyle (55.11) and
Shefali Ramakrishnan the 100 butterfly (1:01.39). Wiskus was also second (1:01.69) in the 100 butterfly and Cleveland second (25.08) in the 50 freestyle. Ramakrishnan finished second (2:25.66) in the 200 butterfly.
Elizabeth Barton was third (57.99) in the 100 freestyle,
Paige Rundahl second (2:04.06) in the 200 freestyle,
McKenna Biegler second (5:24.04) and
Abby Gierke third (5:39.90) in the 500 freestyle and Biegler second (11:07.10) and Meganna Jobin third (11:47.91) in the 1,000 freestyle. Rundahl was second (2:13.22) in the 200 backstroke.
Badillo finished third in the 100 backstroke (1:02.88) and 100 butterfly (1:04.22) while Aly Wallander placed second (1:13.56) in the 100 breaststroke and
Emily Hauke third (2:37.58) in the 200 breaststroke.
Lily Rosenau was third (2:21.28) in the 200 I.M.
