Eagles Compete At UW-Oshkosh Quadrangular; Finish Second As A Team

Oshkosh, Wis. - The University of Wisconsin-La Crosse gymnastics team traveled to Oshkosh, Wis. to compete at the UW-Oshkosh Quadrangular Thursday night for their final regular season meet. 

THE BASICS
Final Results: UW-Oshkosh 194.350, UW-La Crosse 192.625, Winona State University (Minn.) and Greenville University (Ill.) 190.200. 
Location: Kolf Sports Center, Oshkosh, Wis.
Next Up: The Eagles will return home for the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Championships (presented by Culvers) on Saturday, March 8. UWL is the host school for this year's Championships which also serves as the National Collegiate Gymnastics Association (NCGA) West Regional Championship. Session one of the meet will begin at 12:30 p.m. while session two starts at 6 p.m.

HOW DID IT HAPPEN
    VAULT
  • As a team, the Eagles finished with a 47.975 on the vault while UW-Oshkosh posted the highest team score with a 48.725.
  • Darby Savage and Paige Breckwoldt were the top Eagle finishers on the vault as they tied for fifth with a 9.700. The 9.700 was a season high for Savage.
  • Averie Evans of UW-Oshkosh won the vault with a score of 9.850.

    UNEVEN PARALLEL BARS
  • UWL had two of the top four individuals on the uneven parallel bars as they finished with a 48.325.
  • Morgan Engels tied a season high 9.725 to finish tied for second on the bars. 
  • Lauren Main was next for the Eagles as she recorded a 9.700 to finish tied for fourth individually.
  • Ashlie Leage of Greenville University (Ill.) won the event with a 9.750. 

    BALANCE BEAM
  • Recording a UWL career high on the balance beam was Lauren Main with a 9.800 to finish tied for second overall. Main's previous career high was 9.775 which she recorded at the George Washington University (D.C.) Quadrangular on February 16, 2025.  
  • Finishing with a 9.750 on the balance beam was Claire Robbins as she finished tied for sixth. 
  • Lydia Hayden of UW-Oshkosh won the balance beam as she finished with a 9.825. 
  • As a team, UWL scored a 47.875 while UW-Oshkosh posted the highest team score with a 48.850.

    FLOOR EXERCISE
  • On the floor exercise, UWL tied a season best 48.450 as a team.
  • UWL had three of the top four finishers in the floor exercise led by Robbins who finished third with a 9.725 which tied her season high this year.
  • Finishing tied for fourth was Hunter Matulka and Kyla Dickson as they both recorded a 9.700. 
  • Aleah Radojevich of UW-Oshkosh won the floor exercise with a 9.775.
