La Crosse, Wis. - The University of Wisconsin-La Crosse women's team opened its 2024-25 home schedule with a 7-0 victory over Carroll University (Wis.) Sunday afternoon at Green Island Tennis Park. The Eagles improve to 6-0 on the season while the Pioneers drop to 1-4. 

It is UWL's fifth straight shutout victory.  

The Eagles took all three doubles matches with victories by Tasha Bailey/Shelby Roth (No. 1), Maia Samuelson/Hannah Cady (No. 2) and Lauren Lindow/Emma Heinert (No. 3). 

UWL swept the six singles matches in straight sets as Bailey (No. 1), Roth (No. 2), Lindow (No. 3), Heinert (No. 4), Samuelson (No. 5) and Cady (No. 6) picked up the victories.
