Onalaska, Wis. - With the top eight finishers, the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse golf teams took first and second place at the UWL Fall Invitational Saturday/Sunday at The Golf Club at Cedar Creek.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- As a team, UWL had the top four finishers finish first as they shot a two round total of 626 (314, 312) as a team. Allison Balduzzi earned medalist honors after shooting a two day toal of 152 (74, 78).
- Grace Ellison (82, 77) and Sophie Denure (79-80) finished seven strokes back of Balduzzi to finish tied for second.
- Andrea Schleeper cut six strokes off her round one score (83) to finish tied for fourth with a 160 while Nora Cerroni was seventh with a 163 (79-84).
- The UWL B team cut 14 strokes of their team round one score (331) to shoot 317 and finish second overall. Erin Rosencrantz (79-81) led the Eagles with a 160 to finish tied for fourth.
Allison Balduzzi
- Haley Tooney shot a round two score of 75, cutting ten strokes off her round one score (85) to shoot a 160 and tie with Rosencrantz and Schleeper for fourth.
- Lauren Ambrookian finished eighth with a 164 (83, 81) while Jenna Wiebke tied for 18th (91, 80 - 171) and Kiya Bronston finished tied for 29th (84, 94 - 178).
- Playing as individuals, Allie McBryde finished tied for ninth (84, 81 - 165) while Abby DeMoe finished 11th with a 167 (83, 84).

- The Eagles will be back in action next Saturday (9/30) and Sunday (10/1) when they play in the UW-Stevens Point Mad Dog Invitational at Sentry World Golf Course.
