Hastings, Minn. - The University of Wisconsin-La Crosse women's golf team shot a team school record in day one of the Division III Classic as they sit in second place as a team.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• As a team, UWL shot a school record 305 as they are in second place, two strokes behind tournament leader Carleton College. 
• Nora Cerroni is tied for first place as she shot an even par 72 for the Eagles. 
• Grace Ellison is tied for eighth place with a 77.
• Claire Kelbel and Sophie Denure are tied for 12th as they both shot a 78. 
• Andrea Schleeper shot an 81 to be tied for 31st.
