Hammond, Wis. - The University of Wisconsin-La Crosse finished second at the UW-Stout Spring Invitational Saturday afternoon at Pheasant Hills Golf Course in the Eagles final tournament of the season. UWL's "A" team finished five strokes back (328) of team champion UW-Stout (323).

UW-Eau Claire was third (337) followed by UWL's "B" team (351), UW-River Falls (355) and Carthage College, Wis. (373).
The Eagles'
Allison Balduzzi finished second individually with a 79 while teammate
Andrea Schleeper was third with a round of 80.
Grace Ellison shot an 83 which was good for a tie for sixth place. In a tie for eighth-place was
Kiya Bronston who shot an 84.
Sophie Denure placed 14th with an 86.
Abby DeMoe tied for 18th with an 87 while
Erin Rosencrantz,
Jenna Wiebke,
Claire Kelbel and
Lauren Ambrookian all tied for 20th after a round of 88.
Keila Kittelson, who shot a hole in one on 17, tied for 28th with a 92.
Sydney Grimm of UW-Stout took medalist honors with a round of 76. A total of 38 golfers completed the round on the par 72 course.
