NCAA Division III Region 1 Diving Championships Website
Chicago, Ill. - Seven members of the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse women's and men's swimming & diving team completed action at the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division III Region 1 Diving Championships Saturday at the University of Chicago's Myers-McLoriane Pool in the Ratner Athletics Center.
In the women's one-meter competition, UWL's
Laci Gottschalk placed 18th (341.90 points) while
Joanne Banaszak was 21st (334.15).
Erika Hysalliu placed 26th (324.70),
Hannah Martini 28th (319.65) and
Madeline Weber 33rd (291.65).
On the men's side in the three-meter,
Tony McNiff was 23rd (392.75) and
Vance Winter 29th (354.20).
In Friday's women's three-meter, Gottschalk placed 11th overall (373.40) while Banaszak was 17th (357.40). Martini was 25th (337.00), Weber 31st (322.10) and Hysalliu 32nd (295.55).
McNiff placed 27th (356.60) and Winter finished 31st (331.15) in the men's one-meter competition Friday..
