NCAA Division III Region 1 Diving Championships Website
Chicago, Ill. - Seven members of the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse women's and men's swimming & diving team competed in the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division III Region 1 Diving Championships Friday at the University of Chicago's Myers-McLoriane Pool in the Ratner Athletics Center.
In the women's three-meter competition, UWL's
Laci Gottschalk placed 11th overall (373.40 points) while
Joanne Banaszak was 17th (357.40). The Eagles'
Hannah Martini was 25th (337.00),
Madeline Weber 31st (322.10) and
Erika Hysalliu 32nd (295.55).
On the men's side in the one-meter, UWL's
Tony McNiff placed 27th (356.60) and
Vance Winter was 31st (331.15).
Action continues Saturday, February 25 with the women's one-meter competition at 12 p.m. and the men's three-meter at 4 p.m.
