La Crosse, Wis. - The University of Wisconsin-La Crosse women's tennis team earned a 9-0 victory over UW-River Falls Saturday afternoon at Green Island Tennis Park. The Eagles improve to 7-2 overall and 3-2 in the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) while the Falcons drop to 0-8 overall and 0-5 in the conference.
UWL swept the six singles matches, dropping nine games.
Kate Townsend won at No. 3 singles Saturday.
It was the final home dual for the Eagles during the fall season.
