La Crosse, Wis. - The University of Wisconsin-La Crosse soccer team, ranked 10th on the United Soccer Coaches Top-25 Poll, improved to 11-1 overall and 3-0 in the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) with a 3-0 victory over UW-Whitewater Saturday afternoon at Veterans Memorial Field Sports Complex. UW-Whitewater drops to 5-5-2 overall and 1-1-1 in the WIAC.

UWL had 18 shots in the opening half while UW-Whitewater totaled four. The Eagles had four corner kicks in the first half.
Neither team scored in the second half with UWL totaling 15 shots and UW-Whitewater five
UWL finished 33 shots, including 12 on goal.
Ellie Arndt had a game-high eight shots with two on goal while
Ainsley Allan finished with six shots with three coming on goal. Cater (two on goal), Caya (one) and
Maggie Hernandez (one) each had three shots. Thirteen players finished with a shot for the Eagles. UWL finished with five corner kicks.

UW-Whitewater recorded nine shots with three on goal. Maya Rebic and Megan Howard each had two shots with Howard recording one on goal. The Warhawks had three corner kicks.
Sophia Anger earned the shutout win, finishing with three saves. Jude Dobrinska suffered the loss for UW-Whitewater, playing the first half while registering four saves. Emma Hager had four saves in the second half. The Warhawks also had one team save.
UWL returns to action Monday, October 9 hosting MSOE (Wis.) at 5 p.m.
