La Crosse, Wis. - The University of Wisconsin-La Crosse women's tennis team improved to 15-3 on the season with a 6-3 win over Luther College (Iowa) Tuesday afternoon at Green Island Tennis Park. Luther (Iowa) drops to 15-10 on the year.
UWL earned its 11th win in its last 12 matches with Tuesday's victory.

UWL returns to action Saturday, April 30 facing UW-Eau Claire in the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) Team Tournament. The dual is set to start at noon at UW-Whitewater in the tournament semifinals. The winner of the tournament earns the league's automatic bid to the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division III Championships.
