Results
Rochester, Minn. - The University of Wisconsin-La Crosse women's and men's swimming & diving teams completed second day action at the Rochester Invitational Saturday night at the Rochester-Olmstead County Recreation Center Natatorium.
The women's squad is in fourth-place with 376 team points while the men's team is in sixth with 291. A total of nine teams are competing in the women's competition while eight are competing for the men.
Jordy Hahlen
On the women's side, UWL's
Jordy Hahlen placed fifth (58.18) in the 100 backstroke while
Kylee Sommer was 10th (59.09),
Autumn Seebach tied for 11th (59.25) and
Amanda Richards 20th (1:00.96). The Eagles'
Laci Gottschalk finished seventh (362.30 points) in the one-meter diving Saturday.
Lauren Steien was eighth (1:07.02),
Brooke Laube 15th (1:09.63), Aly Wallander 17th (1:09.56) and
Makenzie Wallace 20th (1:10.36) in the 100 breaststroke while
Abi Schauske finished eighth (4:51.09), Maddie Richter 15th (4:56.04) and
Lily Rosenau 20th (4:53.83) in the 400 I.M.
UWL's
Reilly Eiynck finished 18th (1:59.77) in the 200 freestyle while
Emily Rundahl was 20th (2:01.69).
Both relays placed 10th on Saturday.
Lindsey Evenson,
Paige Rundahl, Laube and Sommer were 10th in the 200 freestyle relay (1:39.55) while Seebach, Steien,
Brooke Presny and
Alexis Hoeben 10th in the 400 medley relay (4:02.53).
In men's action Saturday, UWL's 200 freestyle relay of
Blake Nelson,
Jackson Plautz,
Nicholas Litterer and
Will Quackenbush finished seventh (1:24.61).
Nicholas Litterer
Litterer was 11th (52.15),
Ming Ong 13th (53.38),
Brevin Kruse 14th (53.89) and
Jesse Hammes 16th (54.88) in the 100 backstroke while Quackenbush was 11th (1:45.23),
Connor Cleveland 12th (1:45.32) and
Andrew Perrin 20th (1:46.61) in the 200 freestyle.
The Eagles'
Caleb Jondle finished 13th (4:18.18) and Sebiyam Werdin-Kennicot 17th (4:21.86) in the 400 I.M. while
Jacob Brehmer placed 19th (1:02.18) in the 100 breaststroke.
