Oshkosh, Wis. - The University of Wisconsin-La Crosse women's swimming & diving team earned a 155-84 dual victory at UW-Oshkosh Saturday afternoon in Albee Hall. The Eagles improve to 3-1, including 2-1 in the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC).
UWL won 11 individual events and swept both relays on Saturday. Individually,
Lauren Steien captured the 100 (1:00.63) and 200 (2:19.62) butterfly while
Autumn Seebach won the 200 breaststroke (2:39.37) and 400 I.M. (4:52.38).

Aubrey Lonergan won the 100 freestyle (56.01),
Sydney Guenther the 200 freestyle (2:04.75),
Ellen Bie the 500 freestyle (5:32.90) and
Amelia Olson the 1,650 freestyle (18:39.74). Bie was also second in the 200 freestyle (2:10.27).

Kylee Sommer captured the 100 backstroke (1:02.36),
Jordy Hahlen the 200 backstroke (2:13.88) and
Emma Siegersma the 100 breaststroke (1:14.67).
Second-place finishers included
Lindsey Evenson in the 50 freestyle (26.18) and
Kathleen Casella in the 200 butterfly (2:29.50).
Laci Gottschalk was second in the one (234.60 points) and three-meter (210.70) diving competition.
Erika Hysalliu placed third in the one-meter (200.70).
Molly Banks was third in the 50 freestyle (26.27), Sophie Benson third in the 1,650 freestyle (20:39.66) and
Sarina Le third in the 100 breaststroke (1:18.14).
Hahlen, Steien,
Brooke Presny and Lonergan took the 200 medley relay (1:53.66) with
Reilly Eiynck, Sommer, Evenson and Lonergan capturing the 400 freestyle relay (3:47.27).
UWL returns to action Saturday, January 29 hosting UW-Stevens Point at 1 p.m.
